Presently operating as the DGM public's willing servant, I sit at a satisfyingly mellowed Regency desk acquired from Arthur Mason's antique shop in the Corn Market, Wimborne some 15 years ago; and upstairs being video-recorded - at this very moment! is a Reeves & Mortimer cod game show. Synchronicity or what?

20:25 Last night, returning from our obscure rites of necromancy, I watched the video of "Shooting Stars" while gently consuming a tasty pasty from the health food shop in Salisbury. Surprise (no, not the pasty): in a wonderfully absurd filmed sketch which purported to be a BBC costume drama, Vic Reeves performed a strange dance to an instrumental section from "Happy Family" (the KC "Lizard" album of 1970): Mel Collins as sax section honking superbly.

And today, suffering artist that I am for you all, I completed the final selections to be assembled into "Live Groove". This will be a single volume, and we have enough alternative takes to make a strong second volume. This might be a general release later, or a Club option.

The main shows are Northampton and Detroit, which are almost complete shows; the first set of the second night in Chicago; pieces drawn from both sets in Cleveland, and some material from Charlotte, Vermont.
